Standards Mapping

One of my recent undertakings has been the organization of standards concepts in order to identify where similar ideas occur. The end goal is to produce a breakdown of the grade levels in which a specific concept appears.

For example, keyboarding is introduced at 1st Grade, taught in Grades 2-5, and applied in Grade 6-8. This kind of information is helpful in developing a computer skills curriculum and determining performance benchmarks.

This is a highly incomplete work-in-process. These maps will update automatically as I continue working on this project.

The first map includes concepts from Tech Content Standards 3, 4, & 5 only. This is not to dismiss the importance of the other standards, but the focus in this particular effort is on performance-based computer skills only.

This second map includes only information literacy related concepts. These skills were broken out into a second map only due to size constraints.
